Still Waters

Shortlisted, Buildner’s House for the Terminally Ill Competition

A conceptual day hospice where architecture steps back to let nature and stillness do the work. Four pavilions turn toward forest, sky, and water; a chapel stands apart in quiet distance. Rammed earth, natural light, and restrained material choices shape spaces built to hold life’s most personal moments with calm and warmth.

Envisioned for a real site, the project leans into the local site, seasons, atmosphere, and resources of its Gulf Island setting.
